The Time Travelers Wife

is the absolute best book-to-movie translation I have ever seen. I think I actually enjoyed the movie more than the book, which is something very rare for me. I loved the story of the book, but it took me a while to get through it because Audrey Niffenegger’s writing style is a little slow for my liking. It was SO long and detailed and a little confusing at parts. But the story…..won me over so much that it’s still one of the best books I’ve ever read.

The movie is just so….beautiful. They did such an awesome job with the casting and the dialogue and the beautiful colors and lighting throughout the whole movie.  I had read the book of course, so I knew the ending which made me cry through half the movie when I saw it in the theater. Now watching it on HBO for the 2nd time and falling in love with it all over again.

Seemingly dirty sentence of the day….

“A cartridge engineer’s worst nightmare?…Nozzle blockage.”
